A lovely Victorian period milking stool of diminutive proportions and in elm wood. So much character and age to this one. It has a replaced leg, which is straight, not turned, suggesting that it was much too loved to part with and an age where things were repaired rather than discarded. And old green paint, probably from when the leg was replaced, with the elm wood graining showing through. Such a sweet and charming stool.
English and dating to around c.1880
Please note, this piece is an antique. It will display wear commensurate with age and use.
Postage within Australia $22.95
Dimensions: 29cm wide, 27.5cm deep, 17cm high
